    Welcome to the web presence of the Sanctuary of Divine Providence!  We are a ministry of the Catholic Apostolic Church of Antioch, part of the Independent Catholic (sometimes referred to as Sacramental Justice) movement.  Independent Catholic churches are churches not in communion with Rome or Eastern Orthodoxy, but with valid Apostolic Succession.  While some are traditionalist, we are consciously progressive and inclusive.  We treasure the sacraments and the wisdom of the great Christian mystics and theologians but also strive for a warm welcome for all people on the spiritual journey. 
     We hold up love as the guiding principle and affirm that the sacraments are channels of grace which connect us to the deep love and energy of the living Christ.  We welcome all people including those often on the margins of other religious organizations.
